The administrative staff includes the Chief of Department, the Deputy Chief, and all non-firefighting personnel. Non-firefighting personnel include the Administrative Secretary, the Emergency Management Director, the department Medical Director, and the department's Fire Chaplains. The Chief of Department oversees all aspects of the department and it's personnel. The Deputy Chief directly oversees all day to day operations of the department. The Administrative Secretary handles the issuing of all department permits. The Chief, Deputy Chief, and Administrative Secretary are all available during normal business hours. The Chief and Deputy Chief are also available on-call for any emergencies the department may respond to. All other members are available on-call for emergencies or at the department's request. The Emergency Management Director oversees the community's emergency management program. The Medical Director oversees the clinical aspects of the department's emergency medical services. Finally, the department has Fire Chaplains who provide spiritual and/or emotional support to both victims and personnel, as well as their freinds and families.
